heading_title

The founder and CEO of Hart.mk, Dragan Janevski, recently visited the headquarters of Pininfarina Segno, in Ravenna, Italy, where he met with the international sales manager Andrea Tritapepe, as well as Martina Barbato from the same department of the Italian company. Hart.mk is the Macedonian partner of Pininfarina Segno, the new chapter in the history of the design house Pininfarina, founded in Turin in 1930, dedicated to writing instruments and accessories.

At the meeting, several topics were discussed with a focus on the prospects of the collaboration between Pininfarina Segno and Hart.mk. During the visit to the factory and its showroom, Dragan Janevski had the opportunity to get a close look at the realization of the Pininfarina Segno project, born from a vision, unique in its category, to create new, fresh experiences and perspectives in the field of writing, in terms of design, technology, materials, and applications.

The Italian hosts spoke of the company’s passion for finding creative talent, research and innovation, as well as a genuine concern for the quality of craftsmanship and the Made in Italy touch, preserving a heritage based on “well made”:

“The writing instruments of the Pininfarina Segno collection are small masterpieces designed to leave an indelible mark over time. Made by hand, one by one, using top quality materials such as aluminum and fine walnut wood, these writing instruments guarantee the attention to detail that have always made Italian products unmistakable. We define Pininfarina Segno as a laboratory for developing excellences inspired by the conviction that design can improve everyone’s life, representing a unique journey creating unprecedented experiences, a new chapter in a story born in 1930. The exceptionally crafted, imaginative writing instruments are inspired by Italian artistic heritage and Pininfarina’s own dedication to intelligent and innovative product design, a process that Pininfarina Segno calls “Design Writing.” The proof are the several recognitions and international prizes collected during the years: Red Dot Award in 2017 for Pininfarina Aero, Red Dot Award in 2021 for Pininfarina PF TWO Fountain Pen, European Product Design Award in 2021 for Forever FILUM, Good Design Award in 2023 for Forever Modula, Green Good Design Award for B1 Digital Business Card.“

Made by hand…

Speaking about the future direction of the company, Andrea Tritapepe and Martina Barbato introduced the guest from Hart.mk to the prospects of Pininfarina Segno’s prestigious partnerships in high-end international design, including brands such as Maserati, Rolls-Royce, Oracle Red Bull Racing.

“The strength of this partnership lies in the common vision and shared values: from the continuous search for excellence in every detail, to the perfect balance between traditional craftsmanship and innovative techniques. A dedicated division has been created, under the name of One-to-One projects. Here I would mention the collaboration with Maserati, where the ambitious goal is to create a refined series of writing instruments, inspired by the four-wheeled jewels of the iconic Trident. The collaboration, in continuous development, is renewed and expanded with the birth of new products, exploring different fields of business always in step with the evolution that the Maserati brand has been showing in recent years. There’s also Rolls-Royce, for which we create unique pens, both in form and function, designed to stand out from any other Rolls-Royce pen previously designed, with an evocative and highly modern aesthetic. For Hyundai Korea, we developed a unique “stylus” created ad hoc for the customers of the new Genesis G80. The outcome is an exclusive writing instrument that combines innovation and dynamism with the charm of timeless elegance. Several exciting cooperations under license agreements represent an important part of Pininfarina Segno core business in the field of high-end stationery and accessories, by partnering with important brands. Examples include a limited edition especially for FIFA WORLD CUP 2022, Star Wars special edition, or the new fresh official partnership with Oracle Red Bull Racing.”
